The reason I choose Gambia

Bilde
Why Gambia? I chose Gambia for many reasons. The first one is that there are wide choices of accommodation available to travelers from all over the world which give them the chance to explore the country. Second, Gambia has many good and organized things to explore such as the capital of Banjul, Camel rides at Tanji, dolphin sporting at Jinack Island, Abuko Reserve and many other natural reserves. Last but not least, there are many restaurants where foreigner can eat different kinds of local and international food.  Thanks my readers!  I hope you have received information about Gambia and if you are going to travel, you know what to do! good luck!! Rita

Religion

Bilde
Religion Even though Gambia is a predominantly Muslim, with up to 90% of the population practicing Islam, it is considered as a very tolerant country of all religious beliefs. The remaining 10% is a mix of Christians and other localized traditional religions. Islam came to this part of West Africa across the Sahara early in the second millennium and quickly became a commanding influence with most of the population converting.
